SHADOW OF WAR - WAS IT GOOD?
Oh my good golly gosh, where do I even begin with this?? Well for starters, I am not a person who usually goes back to video games once I have beaten them but this one is a keeper and repeater for sure! Just the game play itself is very entertaining but the variety of battles was also very engaging. The ability to cast your will onto others and dominate orcs was something I could do for hours. My baby girl would even ask me to play this game because the monsters looks and dialogue were enthralling.
There is an online presence here that will keep you playing this game for hours on end and I can assure you, if you lose a single battle it will devastate your assets and your pride. THUS it will force you to continue to play 5 more rounds with the online opponents until you are back where you were. I have approximately 50 hours in this game from trying to collect all the amazing weapons, robes, rings, and fortresses. I recommend this game to anyone and everyone.
Now I hate to burst your and everyone else's bubble.. BUT... the story. This story of Shadow of War... has nothing, I repeat, NOTHING to do with the actual story of Lord of the Rings. This game completely ignores the books, the lore, and even the correct pronunciations of famous characters. Do not play this game and then think you have a better understanding of the infamous LOTR story line because it is false...fake... and phony. But it can be yours for the low low price of $60. Once again, I recommend for game play and NOT for story line.
Just a brief example of some game play: https://twitter.com/mattjmcandela/status/1344115895921078275?s=20
